The construction service company Fira Oy and property investment company Sponda have agreed on the construction of a high-quality set of properties at Lauri Korpisen katu in Jokiniemi, Vantaa. The project comprises an office facility of 21,000 gross square metres, a parking facility with approximately 650 parking spots, and over 2,000 gross square metres of commercial facilities on the foundation of the parking facility.
The project’s contract form is a project management contract, and the project is the largest in Fira’s history. The site is located in Jokiniemi, Vantaa, right next to the Tikkurila railway station. Construction will start in the summer of 2022, and all properties will be completed by the turn of the year, 2024–2025. Valmet will be the primary tenant of the office facilities.

We are paying special attention to the buildings’ energy efficiency and solutions to reduce its environmental impact. Fira has previously carried out several office facility projects. Fira’s extensive experience in building parking facilities has also allowed Fira to accumulate standardized and concept-based solutions that have also been utilized in the design of the Lauri Korpisen katu parking facility.
