Fira provides real estate investors with new business opportunities in the housing market

Postipuiston Hehku, a two-building complex with 85 apartments in Postipuisto in Helsinki, is being implemented under a new service model in which Fira is responsible for developing and implementing the project and selling the apartments. The service is intended especially for real estate investors, for whom it offers new business opportunities.

Unlike many other construction companies, Fira does not engage in construction on its own. Instead, the company develops and implements projects in cooperation with its customers. This enables Fira to focus on the development of construction service business operations and provides real estate investors with access to a new type of business in the housing market.

“Fira’s new service model creates added value for investors through the sale of both the site and the apartments, enabling them to expand their business operations. The service is a good option in particular for investors who have not been involved in developing apartments for sale. As the service provider, Fira is responsible for jointly agreed aspects, such as project development and implementation, long-term commitments and the sale of apartments,” says Topi Laine, Director, Residential Construction at Fira.

“This service model, which is targeted at housing investors, is perfectly in line with Fira’s service company strategy. We have systematically increased our capability to implement high-quality projects cost-effectively. For this purpose, we have developed our own solution libraries and concepts, which we will also use in future projects. They lay a solid foundation for services that create value for customers,” Laine says.

In its new service model, Fira has invested heavily in the sale and attractiveness of apartments. Homebuyers can affect the selection of materials extensively and design ideal solutions for their homes. Fira also offers good loan terms to homebuyers.

Postipuiston Hehku, the project currently under construction in Pasila, consists of two limited liability housing companies: As Oy Helsingin Eloisa and As Oy Helsingin Idylli. The project will result in 85 new homes in Postipuisto by January 2024. The apartments are currently available for sale.
