Fira has agreed to build a residential apartment building in Nihti

Construction service company Fira has signed a preliminary agreement with investment company Kilo Invest Oy to build a Hitas residential apartment building in Nihti, Helsinki. Apartment reservations will begin on July 14, 2025, and the goal is to start construction later in 2025.

The housing company As Oy Helsingin Saarenhelmi will be a six-storey building with a total of 41 apartments, ranging from studios to five-room homes. The apartment sizes vary between 31 and 119 square meters. This A-energy class building will be built in a prime location next to Mustikkamaa and Korkeasaari. Once the Kruunuvuori bridges are completed, transport connections to Hakaniemi and the city center will improve even further. Applications for the Hitas apartments will open in July, and the lottery will take place at the beginning of August.

The project will be carried out as a design-and-build contract, using Fira’s in-house solutions and its structural and interior factories. These enable fast, precise, and error-free construction. Thanks to Fira’s concept, the construction costs have been kept competitive, making it possible to launch a Hitas project in a central location in Helsinki.
